The German Theatre and the Migrants

Migrant theatre“Das Land, das die Fremden nicht beschützt, geht bald unter” — Goethe
(“The country that does not protect the strangers will soon be doomed.”)

Not only are the Thalia theatre in Hamburg and the Berliner Ensemble (Brecht’s old theatre) among those that provide welcoming space for the flood of incoming migrants, but also for performances of the drama of their flight and arrival.
